A white she-wolf had stumbled, somehow, to this village. Man's scent was still here, however it was faint, and it did not worry her as much as it would have if the scent had been fresh. Alika, the she-wolf, had looked to some of what remained to be buildings, and shook her head, knowing that this was no-longer one of Man's homes, but now was the outlands of a great pack's.
Alika looked around cautiously, not wanting to be spotted before she could ask for acceptance. Her ears perked upon her silvery-white head, the effect of the cresent moon's lighting. Though the she-wolf could not keep calm, the eerie silence of the night was enough to drive any wolf past their wit's end, that was for sure. So the white wolftress sat, waiting.
Her wait finally ended when she felt it was time, and the white she-wolf raised her head, exposing the thick fur of her throat, and let out a loud, smooth howl. A howl that would glide within the terra, summoning a Scout or Hunter to allow her into the land, from then she'd see an Alpha most likely, to learn of her arrival and -- if she was lucky enough -- accept her into their pack.
She hoped she was lucky. Any wolf in this position would. It was either lady luck was with her, to allow her to remain here, or she had turned her back on Alika, and would cause her to be ripped to shreds. Ripped to shreds. No, she wasn't fully on their land, just the borders. And if she wasn't accepted for some odd reason, then she could run. Most packs didn't chase a wolf once they were out of their lands, unless they had been soliciting.
So Alika lowered her head, cutting off the last note of her howl. More waiting now. Patience was not quite her thing at the time, the night wasn't helping either. Though she'd wait. Yes, she would ignore her instincts for the time-being, she'd continue to sit here, anxious about the future. She'd wait. Right here.

Leathery nose wrinkled in distaste as a pair of dark occuli scanned the old huts that used to be occupied by a human tribe. The wolf that owned these eyes padded swiftly between the houses, head high, maw tilted towards the sky, a dignified air about him. His gait was high stepping and proud, and his pawsteps were light and careful, leaving shallow imprints in the thick snow that covered the Deserted Village.
Hackles, coloured a mixture of grey, beige and tawny, rose uncomroftabley as an alien scent filled the brute's nostrils, and his head was lowered, dark eyes searching his surroundings, harbouring an imperious look.
A small smile donned his maw as his eyes fell upon a female wolf. He had heard a howl earlier, and assumed now that this was the wolf who had made the sound.
"Hello, my dear lady, I must say, you did startle me a little just then," He said, his voice nasal and posh. "It is a fine day, what what?"
The wolf's smile increased slightly. Then, after a sudden pause, his features suddenly twisted into an almost comically apalled expression.
"Oh! How rude of me! I havn't intruduced myself!" He excliamed, and swept into a low bow, the tip of his maw brushing Alika's paws. "Sir Samuel the Second, at your service, my lady," He stated formally, lifting his head and smiling expectantly at Alika as he waited for her to greet him.
ooc: LOL! I had so much fun typing that. ^^

ooc- Lol! I had fun reading that XD Though I had to re-read it a few times. xD
ic- Alika herself was startled at his arrival, and had nearly, if physique would have allowed it, jumped out of her own skin. Sides heaved in and out, in harsh breath as the she-wolf struggled to control her surprise, a rather hard emotion at the time, to tame. "H-Hello.." She stated somewhat bluntly, stumbling over her own words for a second. The white she-wolf mentally slapped her snout with a willow-limb, sneezing as if the mentallity had been physical.
"I'm sorry." She said, shaking her head, "I'm not always like that. Just I'm a little high-strung at the moment." It was Alika's turn for a smile to creep upon her black lips, adorning her maw. "I don't quite have such a fancy name, but I am Alika." Her voice, as always, was fluent and song-strewn, as if she were always singing. Though, it was a little shaken, as the she-wolf continued to calm herself.
The she-wolf sat herself down from the position she'd taken when startled, and jumped, or more-so tumbled, sideways. Her pure white fur was now stricken with a little dust, though that didn't bother the jolly wolf at all, atleast not now.
ooc-omg horribly short. ><

Sir Samuel smiled as Alika said her first word to him, nodding his head slowly, eyes widening, as if prompting her to go on. He sat up straight as she finished, clearing his throat, plume beating the ground.
"That's quite alright," He responded pompously, dipping his head. He smiled.
"Nice to meet you," He smiled again, offering her a pale beige paw in greeting.
ooc: Eeekle! Same here. hehe.

ooc-I feeeeel inactive! ><
ic- Alika dipped her maw in recognition, and in greeting. "It is mutual," She replied softly, looking up and allowing a smile to breach upon her maw. Not that it wasn't already there, waiting to be seen, but it had just grown a little, a little wider, a little brighter. That was all.
"Well, I am glad to not be so alone now." Alika added joyfully. Being alone had indeed gnawed at her heart. Every wolf feared, or more so tried to avoid, loneliness. It was something that was horrible, that killed your soul if not delt with. And the fairly young she-wolf was glade to have accompaniment, if not having a home, company was the next best thing.

Sir Samuel smiled kindly as she began to speak. His face slowly became eager, his eyes bright, and he nodded, plume beating the ground. I'm glad not to be so alone now.
Sir Samuel had found that many 'commoners' did not enjoy to be loners, but would rather reside with a pack. This was one of the major factors that linked ordinary wolves and the wolves of his kin.
He may of set off to travel alone, but he had known that he would meet many others on his way, and the thought had comforted him. If he had been destined to roam the world without company, he would never have left his pack.
"Yes, m'lady Alika. Company is always apreciated," He said brightly to the white femme, before allowing his eyes to roam the village. He had scented a pack around (he was very proud of that. His ability to differentiate(sp?) between smells had improved a lot since he had left home.) and wondered where they had got to. The white female had howled recently. Surely the pack leaders would have heard her call by now.

ooc: The way Sir Samuel bows reminds me of Val on the other site. hehe ^^
bic: Slowly a golden figure glided through the barren trees, silver streaks of moonlight rippling across her back through the frosty branches. It moved quickly, darting between trees, but it's pace was unsteady; The wolven femme covered ground in no time, her steely muscles carrying her easily from running for a year. The ache that had pulsated through her joints had ceased half a year ago, and it was no lie to say that she could run forever; she felt as though she already had. A quiet song escaped her black lips, how ever it would grow louder in small, random bursts as she would twirl or leap, throwing her head back to sing and gaze at the moon with fiery amber eyes. But in a heart beat she'd be moving again, always changing course to follow a new scent, her song yet again reduced to a hum barely above a whisper.
A faint scent of something new caught her nose, and she twisted her lithe body around a tree at nearly a forty degree angle to follow it. She bounded a few steps forward, kicking up the glistening snow behind her, before she stopped stone-still. The forest had opened up, and come to a complete end; before her loomed numerous make-shift houses, a cold wind blowing through the place like a physical loneliness. She twitched her caramel auds, honey eyes flicking all over the place, until finally they rested on the large canine foot prints in the snow, shining a soapy blue in the moon light. She bent her head to sniff the tracks gingerly, and then the golden wolf bounded forward, following the tracks deeper into the abandoned village. She came upon the two wolves faster than she'd imagined, and at she loped around a dank-smelling hut, she came smoothly to a stop before them. Her eyes fell on the white femme with a shock, and she thought with a jolt it was her grandmother, but relaxed when she realized the scent was not hers. It had been a almost a year since she'd seen others of her kind, and it was hard for her not to throw herself at them and nuzzle the complete strangers. A grin dawned her maw. Instead she padded closer, waving her thick golden plume happily, and lowering her head, doing her best to be respectful. She bowed to the white wolf, still smiling, and then did the same to the male that accompanied her. "So sorry to interrupt," she said quickly, standing on tip-toes. "I am Valentina Delicia of the East, and I was wondering if by any small chance there might be more around? Wolves, I mean?" she laughed, realizing how gushy she must sound. "I-I'm sorry..it's just been so long since I've seen anyone!" she said, still grinning.

Baby Pawz was annoyed. After howling at the borders he had expected someone from the main territory to greet him. However, this was not meant to be.
Perhaps they are busy, he had told himself and had began a stroll along the outlands of the Misty Moors terrain.
This was how he had ended up in a deserted village, strange scents and unfamiliar voices strengthening his curiosity. Bright emerald occuli focused on three wolves up ahead, two females and one male. Neither of them carried a pack scent and so Baby Pawz padded boldly up to them.
"Greetings," he said, inclining his dial to the three of them.

ooc: hehe. I know! But he actually bows sincerely, not in a jokey way or anything. lol. So funneh. -pets Sammy-
bic: Samuel sniffed exageratedly as another scent hit his nares, and he slowly analysed it, wondering if it could be one of the pack wolves. After a time of standing perfectly still, eyes wide and hopepful, the Harwit released a soft sigh and shook his head. It wasn't a pack member.
He brightened again as Valentina came into view, and a broad, eager grin spread across his maw. He always liked meeting strangers. There was always so much to be learned.
"Pleased to meet you, Valentina Delicia of the East," The small male said in his pompous voice, bowing low. "My name is Sir Samuel Harwitt II, at your service," He nodded curtly as he rose from his bow, still beaming. "I have been led to believe that there is a pack around here, although they seem to be taking an awfully long time to arrive." He explained.
Another voice - a deeper one, obviously male - caused him to turn his head, and his eyes brightened further, plume swaying. He reached out a paw to Baby Paws.
"Greetings," He mimicked the hazel brute, although not unkindly, simply because he had heard many wolves utter the form of hello before and decided it was fitting. "I am Sir Samuel Harwitt II."

Alika, too, nodded in greeting. "Hello, Valentina." She said briskly, looking to Baby Pawz. "Hello." Her smiling maw grew larger at the thought of more company, and the she-wolf stood up, tail wagging. "I'm Alika. Nothing fancy." The white she-wolf laughed a little, feeling almost bad that she indeed, had nothing of a long nor fancy name.
Though, she kept that goofy grin plastered to her maw, tail continuing to wag, faster and harder. Her big paws shuffled happily. Though, she calmed herself, and sat down, tilting her head to the side, and allowing conversation.

Hazel audits flicked as Baby Pawz acknowledged the names of the other three.
"I'm, er, Baby Pawz," he replied, feeling, as usual, slightly self-concious of his name. It has suited him as a cub but now it sounded ... odd. Ooc| Meep! Even shorter! x]

Confusion flitted very briefly across Sir Samuel's face as Baby Pawz stated his named, but it was gone almost as soon as it arrived. Baby Pawz? What an odd dubbance! But Samuel was a polite wolf, and did not comment on it, instead deciding to dip his head with a smile.
"Hello... ah... Baby Pawz." Samuel said, slowly lowering his unshaken paw. Obviously, this brute had never heard of a paw shake in way of greeting. Sam made a mental note of this. It's so interesting meeting all these strange wolves! The brute thought, plume swaying eagerly as he put forward the question his curious nature led him to ask every 'commoner' he came across.
"So, my dear ladies and gentleman, how, may I ask, did you all come to be here?" Samuel Harwitt said this in a polite tone, tilting his head to the side and smiling eagerly.

Head hanging low, her voids observed the ground, paying no attention in particular where she was heading. Looking down, she suddenly froze, a scent of wolves apparently nearby. Tassle now wagging quickly in excitement, Arya glanced up. Seeing buildings surrounding her, she frowned. This could only mean the work of men. Were there humans here?
Curious, the wolf approached the- as the humans say- town. Her orbs wandered in awe as she paced, too busy observing her surroundings to care about anything else. Occupied watching everything, the white she-wolf smacked into something, instantly tumbling to the ground from the crash.
Shaking her crane quickly, Arya looked up to see what she had ran into; a brute, Sir Samuel Harwitt. Shocked, she rapidly bounded up, spinning around to glance at the whole group of wolves around her.
"Oh dear! I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention and I didn't see you- actually any of you." she apologized rapidly, turning to the brujo with wide, worried eyes. How clumsy am I? she thought, grinning faintly at him. "I'm really sorry about that...I'm a newcomer and I was just wandering then I got distracted and all..." Arya mumbled, looking back down again nervously.

Samuel smiled at the figure of another approaching wolf - a female. However, this smile soon disapeared, replaced by a frown, as Arya did not stop walking but rather continued in her relentless pacing - heading right towards him. A nervous chuckle escaped his lips, and he took a step backwards. What exactly was she doing? Was this some kind of strange new commoner behaviour that he had not yet come across.
"Hello, my dear. If I may be so bold to ask - Oh I say!" Samuel exclaimed, leaping backwards, eyes wide with shock. He watched Arya with a mixture of curiosity and fear - was knocking into another wolf some kind of threat now?
The Harwit visibley relaxed, however, when Arya began to apologise profusely. His maw streched into a smile, and he straightened up.
"That's quite alright, my lady. Mistakes do happen. I am Sir Samuel Harwitt II, also a newcomer in these... ah... parts. May I ask your name?" He asked pompously.

Arya looked up at Sir Samuel, not answering his question for a long, steady moment. Quite a gentleman... she thought playfully, grinning slightly. Shaking her head wearily, a smile appeared on her maw.
"Arya, you may call me by," she replied politely, "Now, May I ask the names of the rest of the group?" the femme asked, turning to the rest of the wolves after suddenly remembering there were others.
Her tassle waved slowly, trying to hide all the excitement she was going through. Arya felt foolish in front of everyone else. All the other wolves seemed so formal and their gaze on her felt as if she was pressured upon. She had intruded unrespectfully by running into one of them, blushing quite a bit at the thought. Shifting uncomfortably, Arya observed each wolf carefully, hoping that they wouldn't be the same as her last pack...

"Greetings, Arya, and welcome to our little group of outsiders." Sir Samuel said, dipping his head towards the female as he had seen other wolves do as a form of greeting.
"You most certainly may!" He continued, smiling. He cleared his throat loudly, then turned to Valentina. "This is Valentina Delicia of the East. This is Alika. And this is... Baby Pawz?" He said, nodding to each wolf as he recited their names. He turned Baby Pawz's name into a question as he reached the brute, tilting his head to the side. He still wasn't sure if he had gotten the brute's name right. However, he was sure to keep any critical emotions of his face. He didn't want to seem rude.
After a short pause, Harwitt turned back to Arya.
"I was just asking where everyone came from. I must say, I am quite a curious soul." He chuckled.

Arya grinned as Sir Samuel introduced each wolf with much enthusiasm. Turning to each acquaintance, she nodded politely, gazing at each one of them carefully.
"Well, who doesn't get curious once in awhile? she laughed lightly, turning back to the polite Harwitt with a smile. "Of course, I am a bit curious myself."
Where everyone came from... she thought, the words still stuck in her mind. Where she came from... Arya's smile faltered, the thought of where the fae came from brought back a feeling of distraught uncertainty and of dislike. Shaking her head, the ivory femme let out a long sigh.
