Carmine laughed, eyes twinkling merrily. Hre maw darted forward and she nipped Bandy's aud gently, growling playfully. Then, she leapt to her feet, jaws parting, tongue lolling. A grin spread across her maw and she nudged Bandarra.
"C'mon, then! Let's go hunting!" She exclaimed happily. Then, she whirled around and sprinted out of the cave, lean legs pumping. She felt refreshed and exilerated by her sleep, and the hunger slowly worming its way into her own belly urged her onwards.
ooc: Bad post. Bleh.

Bandarra shook his head free from the playful wrath Carmine had unleashed 'pon his charcoal pinnae. She was exuberant; bouncing like a pup and nudging him from the karst feature called a cave.
He blinked a few times at how she darted ahead, Bandarra honestly didn't know where she was going. "Uhhh. . .wait!" He called after her, breaking into a run himself, snow pillars working twice as hard to move his stockier form then her graceful one.
Still behind her he asked between panting "Where are the hunting grounds?", ears were pinned against the wind, grey pools squinting against the speed that was making his eyes water. :: I hope she knows where she's going, cause I sure don't!::

ooc: Hehe. Nothing much is going on really. They're going on a hunt.... bic: Carmine giggled to herself, tongue lolling, rejoicing at the refreshing caress of the wind upon her pelt. She had not felt so alive, so happy, so care-free, since Leo had been ordinary. But now all her problems seemed gone, her mind was clear of any disturbing thoughts. She had a new pack and a new great friend. Everything was going perfectly. The red wolf slowed her pace slightly, so that she was running by Bandy's side. She shrugged her slender shoulders. "I dunno. I guess we'll have to explore. We'll try to pick up a scent." She grinned. "Simple, really."

"Then lead the way, O Great Red Hunter!" Bandy teased Carmine a bit. Most of his life he was fed livestock, so he didn't know exactly what scents were food, and what weren't. He didn't smell cows or sheep anywhere near here.
The Mexican brute felt too embarrassed to tell Carmine that he had nearly no experience with hunting actual wild prey. That was one of the problems of well-meaning humans and re-introduction. It messed up the balance of things. Snow dial nudged the fire tinted fae as if telling her to get a move on. She seeemed so happy, Bandy didn't want to think what she'd say or feel when she found out he couldn't hunt.

bic: Cloud walked up to the second cave, looking over her shoulder to see that the newcomers were following. She padded softly up the hill, and paused at the mouth of the cave.

ooc: we're not supposed to start a new thread?
bic: Corwin padded a little behind cloud, not thinking, his mind blank. His paws seemed to pound heavily onto the ground, probably very audible. He stared straight ahead, suddenly tired, but determined not to show it. He shook himself furiously, adding to the already ruffled appearance when his fur refused to lie back down. The wolf didn't care though, he had met the alpha, and now he was in the pack. Suddenly he realized he had no idea what to do next. He was in a pack, but so what? More like, now what? All this had done was put him in one awkward situation after the next, and he almost groaned aloud at the thought.
Feeling the brush of a tail plume against his nose, he stopped suddenly. It was Cloud, and he had almost run into her by not noticing she had paused for a moment. Corwin started and jumped back. " Sorry there miss," he said, feeling blood rush to his face, " I didn't notice where i was going." Great, he thought, another penalty from me. I can't wait to see what happens next. He was being bitter and sarcastic again, probably just tiredness. He hoped anyway.

Carmine laughed as Bandarra's voice floated up to her. Her auds flicked, catching his humerous tone, before the words were whipped away by the wind she had created. She glanced back over her shoulder quickly, eyes twinkling, and stuck her tongue out at him.
Suddenly, she skidded to a halt. Very suddenly. Her nose raised and she sniffed the air, nostrils wrinkling. Her auds perked and ehr eyes narrowed in concentration.
"Hmmm. I.... I 'm not sure. It's pretty far away and there's practically no breeze, but I think I smell prey!" She exclaimed, then realised how stupid she sounded and blushed slightly. She smelt prey? That sounded really unprofessional.
"Not quite sure what type... too far away." She added in a soft mumble, before getting to her feet. She licked Bandarra on the cheek in a friendly fashion before setting off again at a brisk trot, her snout raised, nares flaring every so often to make sure that they were heading in the correct direction.
oov: Argh. Bad post. Will continue this..... somewhere. Lol. Not sure where yet.

In the depths of the cave, the young wolf-dog yawned, stretching her forepaws out before her and and widening her maw. Her pink tongue curled, and for a moment, both ears stood up straight. Hurricane blinked her dark green eyes and peered around the cave. "Hmm. Bandarra and Carmine disappeared," She mused to herself as she got to her grey paws. The half-breed shook her dark grey coat free of any dust it may have gathered, then trotted to the mouth of the cave.
Her black nose wrinkled as she sniffed the air, and Hurricane loped out into the open. She immediately picked up the scent of the two wolves. Grinning slightly and deciding she could use a run, the young wolf-dog set off for Mirror Lake.

The great black brute known as Raif paused briefly as three wolves burst out of the cave joylessly. Grumbling to himself, he made his way up the small slope to join Cloud and Corwin. He growled softly as the Corwin stammered his apoligy to the white fae when he almost slid into her.
With a heavy sigh, the brute turned and made his way into the cave and plonked himself down at the entramce, sending up a stir of dead leaves and dirt.

ooc: or coriwin could talk to him..otherwise they're both just sleeping....
bic: Corwin walked hastily around Cloud, not waiting for a reply. He stood by the entrance of the cave, wondering what Cloud had brought them there for. Raif plopped down in the dirt just inside the cave, so Corwin sat back on his haunches to join him. He glanced down at him, and then back at Cloud. Now what? he thought to himself. His fur ruffled in a slight breeze that made its way into the cave, and he felt the silence press on him like a physical thing. Corwin tried to push that thought away, for it was rather disturbing. It didn't work though.
"So, are we waiting for something?," he asked quietly, it was more directed at the white female, but he hoped somebody would answer. Corwin didn't care who...
