{ Augh. I HAVE RETURNED! ^^; }
Icyen sat near the lake, his blue head on his paws and his eyes turned down at the water. The moonshadows danced silently across his body, as if taunting him to get up. But no matter how much he willed his tired body, he didn't. He couldn't. Because she was here....
Forget it. She would be here, right? She told you. Imbecile. You believed her. You said you would never belive them....
Icyen pushed these thoughts and doubts out of his mind with a toss of his head. Angrily, he made his legs straighten and pushed upward, finally standing. He put his paws into the moon-bathed lake lowering his maw to skim the perfect surface of the water. He waded out til the cool water touched his ribs. Icyen looked up a the scarred and torn moon, scrutinizing it's deep wounds.
"Yet it still shines...even though it is scarred.."
He kept his gaze on it, his unblinking, icy stare threatenting to overfill with tears.
Yes. She was coming. She promised.
{{ Ehh, Chase is who he's talking about.. hope I'm not powerplaying? Okay. So hiy'all, I'm baaaack!! ;D }}

Chase knew the way by heart, she had been here before. And for some reason, this tended to be her and Icyen's favorite place to relax, to talk. For some reason, they always ended up here, at the Mirror Lake.
The rough grasses parted and Chase emerged, head carried a bit lower than normal. She saw Icyen in the water, staring high at the large full moon. She smiled slightly and emerged from the brush.
She padded her way to the lake's edge and stood there, waiting for him to notice her. The coll water laped at her claws, inviting her in, but she shook that aside.
